Idea! Possible idea for a short story?

A few days ago, I was reading an article on Read It Forward about which monsters will be written about next. The article talked about how Werewolves and Vampires are seriously dominating right now, but that there has also been an increase on cyborgs and angels. I made a comment about how zombies and zombie like creatures are my favorite monsters and that I hoped that in the future maybe we’ll see zombie cyborgs, and angels slowly turning into zombies because all the evil in the world is like a virus to them. Perhaps my favorite was ghost zombies! Ghosts that eat other ghosts but it turns out that ghost are an essential part of the great design thus chaos ensues!

This got me thinking, why don’t I write my own short story? With NaNoWriMo going on, maybe I can feel inspired! I have never seriously thought about writing a novel, so I will most certainly not join, but maybe I can write a short story on my own. I have to admit that I am one of those people who think 500 words is too much. Also, as you may have noticed, my grammar sucks. And honestly, I’m just too darn lazy.

Anyway, I’m pretty excited about this idea of mine right now. I guess I should begin on doing some research about zombies, ghosts, viruses, the great design, and how to write a story.

  1. This definitely sounds like an interesting idea. If you do accomplish writing it, I would be interested in reading it. Also, a person only gets better at writing the more they write. First drafts are rarely any good. It’s the rewriting process that makes it better. C: Good luck if you decide to carry on with your story idea!

    1. Thank you! I need to think about it more seriously and get to it! At the moment this idea is all I have. I need to look up the basics, I don’t even know how to write a story.
Thank you for your good wishes!
