Since there are 52 challenges, I think it would be a good idea to do a weekly recap, even when I don’t read any manga. I probably won’t be able to read anything for week 2 since my friend will be coming to visit from out of town and I probably won’t have much time to read manga. Either way, I’ll be making a post at the end of the week.
This week I read:
Kamisama Kiss vol 16
#5 A romance manga
#29 A manga that features a character with super-powers
#30 A manga that features non-human characters
#31 A manga that features gods or monster
#32 A manga that features a female main character
#47 read manga/watch anime
This volume alone completed a lot of the challenges, however, I want to limit it to two challenges per volume max. I think I’ll be more selective later on, once I’ve read more volumes.
I don’t thin I can really talk about Kamisama Kiss vol. 16 without spoiling anything. Volume 16 is over halfway through the series and so far I’m still really loving it. The last few volumes that I read have been really good. Nanami, the protagonist, quickly became one of my favorite female characters. Unfortunately, she was starting to become annoying with her stubbornness and I was starting to worry it was only going to get worse. Thankfully, her character has gone back to being awesome, Tomoe is a little more adorable, and all the other characters are quite likeable. If I remember correctly, volume 16 is one of the last episodes in season 2 of the anime.
