So, I like making pointless videos. By that I mean that I like to record things that I think are interesting or nice to look at. No other real reason behind it, I’ve always liked recording things and taking pictures.
And now I’ve decided to share my pointless videos with you! Why? I don’t know, just felt like it, perhaps you’ll find them relaxing, perhaps you’ll see something nice. They’re really short, hardly edited, and don’t have a posting schedule.
Anyway, I’ve posted 2 so far, check them out if you want! My favorite is the Snail one. I didn’t know they had tiny teeth, that’s awesome!
I just saw the message you sent me this morning, asking for tips on starting a blog. I tried replying to your message, but your email doesn’t work. So I’ll post my reply here in hopes that you see it.
Well, I think a good way to attract attention is to start by posting often in the beginning, until you work out a schedule that you’re really comfortable with and that your readers become familiar with. Book hauls and reading wrap ups usually grab the most attention. It’s a good idea to join groups on Goodreads that allow you to post your blog links. In terms of content I think it’s a good idea to also post non-bookish things. Maybe a movie review, or a special event, or maybe something else you’re interested in.
You should also participate in Tags, even if you’re not tagged. Just remember to link back to the blog were you saw the tag. Leaving comments also exposes your blog.
If you have artistic talents, maybe incorporate those into your blog.
Those are some of the things I would suggest. I hope they’re of some use to you!”
Well, I hope you see this!
Anyone else have any suggestions? Thank you!
Hi guys! It’s been a while. I haven’t been very active in the book blogger community lately. Honestly, I haven’t been reading much, but I’m not on a reading slump. I’m just in the mood for something else. And that something else is…YOUTUBE! Continue reading Meet my favorite clown and chef.
I did another unboxing video. This time it’s Loot Crate (not sponsored). I love Futurama and July’s box included Futurama. I couldn’t pass it up.
Here’s my video if you’re interested!
Now that I know where I’m going to be and what I’m going to be doing for the rest of May and most of June, I can update you guys!
Update #1: I wont be going to Mexico until maybe mid June. Which means I have ’til then to read and review, etc.
Update #2: I made a video about my trip to Australia, but I’m not sure I can share it since my friend’s in it, and I don’t think she would appreciate me posting her face on the internet. Also, it’s too long and my mug is too ugly.
Update #3: So far, I’ve only read one book *sigh* for the month of May.
Update #4: I’m so behind on tags! I don’t think I’ll be able to get through all of them and since I assume that most people have done them by now I don’t think I’ll be tagging people either, unless you really want me to!
Update #5: I still haven’t watched Civil War >_<
Update #6: I need a job T_T
Update #7: I’m trying to learn German
My question is, would you, as my reader, prefer that I made a schedule and post according to that schedule, or do you prefer me posting things whenever I feel like it as I do now, or do you not care?
Thank you for not forgetting about me! Now I’m off to do doing tags!
I think this will be my last post before my hiatus. I should’ve probably posted a March wrap up, but I’m just exhausted. But I’m finally ready for my trip, oh yeah! Anyway, Andy Biersack aka Andy Black has recently released his new solo and OMG I love it! I LOVE IT! I don’t know what else to say, I love it. The song is amazing, the MV is great, and he is just ridiculously good looking. Have you ever seen a hotter/more beautiful man? (Yeah, yeah it’s subjective).
Anyway, please check out his song! If you like deep vocals Andy Black is the man for your ears. My goodness that voice!
He’s in a group called Black Veil Brides, please check them out too. I recommend the song “In the End”.
Have a good weekend, take care and see you soon!
I will be going on hiatus from March 26th until…further notice.
I’ll be leaving Korea soon! I’ve been here for 3 years and I think it’s time to go home. It’s been an amazing experience living and working in Korea, but I’ve started missing home. Also, there are some things, in terms of career, I want to do that I can only do in the States.
Since I’ll be without the responsibility of a job, I decided that this would be the perfect time to travel. Once I have a job I wont have time, and 2 weeks is not enough for all the places I want to go. This really is my only chance to travel the world!
I think I’ll be returning to the blogging world in June. I will go to Mexico soon after returning home in May and I’ll be there for about a month without any internet which means no blogging and… no internet. I honestly don’t know how I’m going to survive. I really don’t. I plan on filling up my suitcase with books, and just taking whatever clothes I can fit in my backpack.
My plan is to record an unboxing video when I get home in the US. I’m so excited, I have a few books I bought in November 2015 waiting for me. Pretty books~ And I can take some of those to Mexico!
During my RTW trip I plan on taking one book with me, American Gods by Neil Gaiman, and my iPad which also contains some books. I hope I can get some reading done, but to be honest, I’m not going to worry to much about it.
Well that is all!
