Manga Reading Challenge – Week 3

This is week 3 of Manga Hoarder’s Manga Reading Challenge 2018!   And I’ve only read 2 volumes so far. But I’ve finished like 6 of the challenges!

For week three I read: Kamisama Kiss volume 17 by Julietta Suzuki.

Nanami, all this time, he’s loved you. All this time! You lucky girl!

Manga Reading Challenge 2018 – Week

Hi guys!

As I stated in my previous post, I decided to participate in Manga Hoarder’s Manga Reading Challenge!

Since there are 52 challenges, I think it would be a good idea to do a weekly recap, even when I don’t read any manga. I probably won’t be able to read anything for week 2 since my friend will be coming to visit from out of town and I probably won’t have much time to read manga.  Either way, I’ll be making a post at the end of the week.

This week I read:

Kamisama Kiss vol 16

21412471

Challenges completed:

#5 A romance manga

#29 A manga that features a character with super-powers

#30 A manga that features non-human characters

#31 A manga that features gods or monster

#32 A manga that features a female main character

#47 read manga/watch anime Continue reading

[Manga] Kamisama Kiss vol. 1 – 5

Kamisama Kiss by Julietta Suzuki

Nanami Momozono is alone and homeless after her dad skips town to evade his gambling debts and the debt collectors kick her out of her apartment. So when a man she’s just saved from a dog offers her his home, she jumps at the opportunity. But it turns out that his place is a shrine, and Nanami has unwillingly taken over his job as a local deity!

Nanami has all kinds of new responsabilities she doesn’t understand, dangers she’s unaware of, and a cranky ex-familiar who’s… actually pretty hot. What’s a new-fledged godling to do? – Goodreads

Instead of a review of the manga so far, I would like to take this opportunity to talk about what I like about Nanami as a character. Continue reading
