[Game] Mystic Messenger Christmas DLC – Christmas Eve: Seven’s Route

CHRISTMAS EVE

**Warning** There is a spoiler in this route if you haven’t finished the main story, or Seven’s route.

NOTE:  I haven’t tested out the calls, sorry. Also, they seem to move around randomly, call at your own risk.

I don’t really consider this a guide since there seems to be so many variables, but this might help you if you happen to get the same chats and dialogues as me. Also, it might help me figure out those tricky secret endings.

HINTS IF YOU WANT TO TRY ON YOUR OWN FIRST: Choose the options that play along with Seven. Also, choose the options that aren’t that festive, but try not to choose too many of the ones that say you won’t go to the event. Divide hearts for the other characters evenly or try not to get any hearts for other characters.

HINTS OVER

***The character names in color are the choices I made for this round. If both are in dark gray/black it means I chose the answer that doesn’t give you any hearts (Nothing).

[Game] Mystic Messenger Christmas DLC – Christmas Day: Unknown Route (Bad Ending)

CHRISTMAS DAY

**Warning** There is a major spoiler in this route if you haven’t finished the main story, or Seven’s route.

NOTE: Dialogue options are copied as they are in the game, spelling and grammatical mistakes included. I haven’t tested out the calls, sorry, call at your own risk.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE! According to other blogs and guides, the chats, visual novels (story modes) and calls change around. Apparently, Cheritz did this so that replay would be more enjoyable and less repetitive. So what you see here may not be what you get when you play.

HINTS IF YOU WANT TO TRY ON YOUR OWN FIRST: Choose a character you want for this route and try to get as many hearts for them as possible, try to get hearts for the other members evenly or try to get no hearts at all from other members. Get two white hearts on the 00:01 chat, participate on all chats because there are three chats that trigger important texts. Reply to the texts correctly.

[Game] Mystic Messenger Christmas DLC – Christmas Eve: Jumin’s Route

CHRISTMAS EVE

NOTE: Dialogue options are copied as they are in the game, spelling and grammatical mistakes included. I haven’t tested out the calls, sorry, call at your own risk.

HINTS IF YOU WANT TO TRY ON YOUR OWN FIRST: Try to get mostly hearts for Jumin and either get hearts from other characters evenly or no hearts at all from other characters. To get hearts from Jumin choose chat options that agree with Jumin, follow what Jumin is saying rationally, and speak well of Jumin. Sometimes you might not get a heart for what seems to be the right answer, don’t worry it seems hearts were very limited for these chats.

HINTS OVER

***The character names in color are the choices I made for this route. If both are in dark gray/black it means I chose the answer that doesn’t give you any hearts (Nothing).

[Game] So I’ve been playing Mystic Messenger

Mystic-Messenger-cover

If you play Otome games, then you’ve probably heard about this game. I sort of randomly found it while looking for a different game and initially thought it was another one of those ticket based visual novels where you have to wait 4 hours to get one ticket. Gosh I hate those games – I’m currently playing 3  of them – and how they practically force you to do the “Tapjoy” thing for points and spend money.

To my delight, Mystic Messenger is nothing like that. I find it rather unique in how it takes advantage of the fact that it’s a mobile game.  Basically, the game is designed to simulate a chatting app. It includes a photo album, email, “friend” profiles, chatrooms, messenger, and a call function. It’s really cool! Continue reading
