I don’t usually post monthly TBRs because they always change. And sure enough, about a week ago I posted my June TBR and it’s already completely changed. I went to the library and got more books, which means those books take priority since I have to return them. So I thought, instead of doing a monthly TBR I should just do a Summer TBR.
These are the books I hope to read between June-August 31st.
Originally I had planned on reading:
I’ve read this book and it was awesome. 5/5
Then I went to the library and go these books:
I’ve read it and I loved it. 5/5
Currently reading it!
And then chose some more that I’ve been meaning to read for years.
Do you have a seasonal TBR or do monthly ones work better for you?
Oh no, monthly tbrs put me in slumps! Checking out one of the books you listed here 😀

Mine always change!! So maybe I have a weekly one, haha. You look like you have such a great list of books. I feel like my list of to read books is always growing. But I guess that’s a good thing 🙂

Oh, I don’t usually do TBR, I don’t like being told what to do/read even if I’m the one telling myself to do it. I did make a summer TBR though, mostly because I really needed to read those books this summer and I’m stubborn enough to complete it despite not wanting to follow what I’m supposed to do. If that makes sense.

Oh lol! Yeah. That’s kind of why I made this TBR because some of these books I’ve been wanting to read for years, I think I should push myself to finally read them.

I just have a big stack of books to read lol. I have no clue what I’m going to read until I finish a book and pick another up.

Have you read The Graveyard Book (Neil Gaiman)? I have to buy some of his novels, too.

Me too! Is it true that they’re going to make a movie based on that book?

I don’t know. I haven’t heard anything about that. I just know they’re making a show out of American Gods.

You must really like Neil Gaiman!
I’m sure you’ll be excited about the release of the movie for “Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children”. 🙂
The cover for “The Invisible Man” reminds me of Rene Margritte’s painting, “The Son of Man”.

I’m so excited about the movie! Are you excited about it too?
I’m not familiar with that painting, I’ll have to look it up.

The ad looks interesting! Asa Butterfield will be in it, and he was in “Merlin.” … I might not be making any sense lol.

Seasonal TBRs work so much better for me too! And even those tend to change in my case. Grr… Too many great books out there! I need more time!
P.S. Necromancing the Stone by Lisa McBride looks greeeat!
